The festival took place on the banks of Zhangjiajie's Baofeng Lake. The artists delighted the audience with their emotional performances.
Long Xiuying, a member of the Tu ethnic minority, performs for visitors from far and wide every day.
All the local people seem to be born singers. Whatever their occupation, from drivers to teachers, all can sing like professionals.
And the unique Sangzhi style of folk singing in Zhangjiajie was listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2006.
Singers of various ethnic groups met in Zhangjiajie, and organizers hope the festival will serve as a platform to promote the local culture and improve understanding between the different ethnic groups.
