The Boao Forum for Asia is to open its annual session on Saturday also on Hainan Island. This year the economic forum is set to focus on environmental issues, with the official title of "Green Asia: moving towards win-win through changes".

Chinese President Hu Jintao will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. 2000 delegates are registered to attend the event, making this session the largest since the forum was first held in 2002.
The Boao forum is a pan-Asian platform for dialogue concerning key issues affecting Asia and the world. And organizers say all preparations are now complete.
