Weather and Climate

Located in the north temperature zone, China enjoys a continental monsoon climate charaterized by a warm and mild climate and distinctive seasons.From autumn to spring the following year, the north China and the South China is contrary in the temperatures because of the dry and cold winter monsoon blow from Siberia and the Mongolia plateau. When enter into Summer, owing to the warm and moist summer monsoons from the ocean, the rainy seasons comes with the hot seasons with little difference in temperature between the south and north.. As far as the temperature is concerned, the nation can be sectored into six zones. They are: equatorial, tropical, Subtropical, warm-temperate, temperate and cold-temperate zones. While in terms of moisture, it can be distributed into humid, semi-humid, semi-arid and arid zones from southeast to northwest.

In China, the weather is varied from season to season.

Spring: March,April,May   

The temperature is about 10-22°c,  western suits, jackets, sports coats, woolen jackets, long sleeve shirts and travel shoes.

Summer: June ,July, August:                  

The temperature is about  22°c and above,t-shirts, short sleeve shirts, skirts, sandals, caps, rain wear.

Autumn: Septemper, October,November 

The temperature is about 10-22°c,western suits, jackets, sports coats, light woolen sweaters, rain wear and travel shoes.

Winter: December, January, February 

The temperature is about  10°c or lower,overcoat, cotton clothes, lined coats. in very cold areas a cap, gloves and cotton-padded shoes are required.
