6 days tour of Tibet

D1: Take the train of No.T22 and depart from Chengdu at 20:36pm. Start your Qinghai-Tibet tour.

D2: Along the way, you will see the beautiful scenery of Sichuan Basin and the loess plateau.

D3: The train drives on Qinghai-Tibet plateau, you can see the rare species of plants and animals of Kekexili in this area. Tibetan antelopes can be seen running along the railway if you are lucky enough. You will pass Mt.Tnaggula which is about 5,072m, the highest place of Qinghai-Tibet railway, after that you are going to drive on the highland grassland, a large area of pasture. Natso lake lies between Amdo and Nagchu is the next attraction and eye feast with its crystal clear blue water. Arrive in Lhasa in the evening and transfer to the hotel.

D4: After breakfast, you will visit the sympol of Tibet—Potala Palace, and then the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, where attract numerous visiters from home and abroad. Enjoy your exotic dinner and back to hotel.

D5: In the morning, we will drive to the Yangpachen, the high altitude hot spring, and you can enjoy it at your cost. And then visit at close range one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, Namtso lake, a salt lake around which are Mt.Tnaggula, the highest place of Qinghai-Tibet railway and the highland grassland. You will be shocked by the landscape around the lake. Overnight in lhasa.

D6: Drive to Shigatse after breakfast, crossing Gangbala mountain and then visit the Yamdrok lake.

D7: In the morning, visit the largest monastery Tashihunpo Monastery in Shigatse. Drive back to Lhasa after lunch and overnight in Lhasa.

D8: Transfer to the airport and services end.
