Shenzhen Baoan International Airport is the first modern international transportation hub that combines air,road and sea transportation in a single airport in China. Shenzhen Baoan International Airport was designed under the standard of Category I Civil Airport (4E) of the People’s Republic of China. Its construction was conducted in several stages. The first phase of construction, starting from May 1989, witnessed a successful trial flight conducted in September 1991. This was considered a practical example of “ShenZhen Speed” and a miracle in history of world airport construction.
