Tours Introduce:Seven-star park is located in the east bank of Li River, through which Xiaodong River is passing. The park covers an area of over 100 hectares and was named after the tale that the seven peaks of Mountain Qixing were the seven stars in the north sky falling down to the earth. The ‘Seven –star Peaks”, “Morning of Camel Hill”, “Crescent Rainbow Shadow” are the symbolic scenes in the park. It is the largest comprehensive park in Guilin.
Flower Bridge: Located at the main entrance of the Seven-star Park, a bridge over Xiaodong Stream. It is the gateway to the Seven-star Park. It was built in Song Dynasty and rebuilt several times during the following dynasties because of its damage by floods. In 1540 in Ming Dynast, the bridge was rebuilt as a stone one with four arches which empty flood easily. There is a Wind and Rain Corridor on the bridge. The reflection of the four arches of bridge from the shape of full moon, or a rainbow over water. It is one of the famous scenes of Guilin, names ”Rainbow Across Flower Bridge.” Camel Hill: the hill bears a close resemblance to a one-humped camel, hence named Camel hill. When in spring time the peach flowers at the foot of the hill are in full blossom, they are just like red glow in the morning, this magnificent view the “Red Glow of Pot Hill” is one of Guilin’s eight famous sights. And at the foot of the hill, American president Clinton had gave a course of lecture on the world’s environmental protection when he visited Guilin in 1998.
