beihai park
Tours Introduce:The Beihai Park is seated in the center of Beijing City, beside the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park.This imperial park has a history over a thousand years.It boasts a large lake and a few surrounding hills decorated with restored pavilions. The artificial hills are believed to have been created in the Yuan dynasty by the Mongol Khans, who used the area as a basecamp.
In the north area of the park is a big pool called Taiye Pool connecting the other two pools with each other. This Pool is also known as Beihai (North Sea). There are many places of interests in the park like Bai Ta (White Dagoba), the Five-Dragon Pavilion, the Nine-Dragon Wall and so on.
